What to include in a solid-care sampling brief

A focused brief brings product, sensory, packaging and market questions into the same review.

Cowin development reference

Name the product territory

Choose shampoo, conditioner, face or body cleansing and attach a clear reference. State whether you want information on an existing item or a discussion about a new direction.

Describe evaluation priorities

List the aspects your team wants to assess, such as handling, application, fragrance preference, rinsing and after-feel. Rank the most important points so the sample conversation has a clear purpose.

Add the project context

Include the destination market, customer, channel, intended assortment, packaging direction and indicative quantity. An estimate is more useful than leaving the commercial context unexplained.

Record the unresolved questions

Ask what can be supplied, which information accompanies it, whether additional development is needed and what timing or charges apply. No standard sample turnaround is assumed on this site.
